Estimate your revised salary under the 8th Pay Commission.
The 8th Pay Commission will update the salary, allowances, and benefits for government employees in India. This calculator helps you estimate your revised salary based on expected changes in the pay matrix, fitment factor, and allowances.
It requires your current Basic Pay, Fitment Factor, HRA category, DA percentage, and Transport Allowance category to compute the revised salary.
India has had several Pay Commissions to revise the salary structure of government employees based on economic changes, inflation, and cost of living.
Pay Commission | Years Active | Highlights |
---|---|---|
1st CPC | 1946 - 1947 | Minimum wage, equal pay |
2nd CPC | 1957 - 1959 | 15% hike, 3 pay scales |
3rd CPC | 1970 - 1973 | Added HRA, CCA, incentives |
